The Green Man

The Green Man is a figure depicted in many different cultures – specifically in Europe. He’s thought to represent the consort of Mother Earth, as well as being a deity figure for fertility and nature. He may have been considered to be an agent of protection or luck, and is often carved into church decorations, even though he’s a pagan deity.
